Hello from Saigon (every still calls it that, even though they "officially" changed the name to Ho Chi Minh City).
Will be here for a couple of days, then I am heading off to Cambodia, where there are 40 million unexploded land mines and 50 people a month die from them. 1 in 275 people in Cambodia is an amputee from a landmine. So, no peeing in the bushes! I will take the advice of others and just do it on the dirt road. Also, I am prepared to bribe the corrupt police... everyone says it is fully worth it - the country is supposed to be a travel dream come true.
So, starting later this week, I will be out of touch for a while...
Oh, and the CD on which I transferred the Thailand / Laos pix worked two weeks ago but is now not working. So, I will not be able to share any of those with you.
